The 55 Cruise Club was founded by Eddie and Dorothea Davis over 14 years ago when they and friends got together to share their cruise experiences.

Whilst the first small group sailed on Black Prince in 1996 the 55 Club has grown so much that there are often over 100 members on Fred Olsen World Cruises alone. Obviously, there are many more members on the shorter cruises.

Why do 55 Cruise Club members wish to travel together? Firstly, by travelling in a group they are able to take advantage of specially negotiated cruise cost savings besides other onboard benefits. Equally important is the chance to renew old friendships and make new contact with new members of the Club.
